Amapiano
From South Africa: a deep log-drum bass, soft keys and a lazy bounce.
- Tempo, BPM
- 110–115
- Where it started
- South Africa, mid 2010s
What it sounds like
Slow and bouncy, with a deep, wobbly “log drum” bass that hits off the beat. Over it: soft jazzy piano, shakers and laid-back vocals. It feels like dancing in slow motion.
