Pobla Passport

For venues

How Passport works on your side: a QR the Pobla team puts up, drops you run by DM, and nothing for your staff to scan. What guests see

Getting set up

  • The Pobla team sets it up in person.

We visit, put up your Pobla QR and make a sticker for your spot. There are no self-serve codes.

  • Guests scan it and make a passport.

It takes a username and an avatar, with no phone number or email. They get your sticker, and your spot gets a Passport stop tag in the guide.

Running a drop

  • A drop is something free for your sticker holders.

Like a free drink, on a night you pick, for a few hours. You choose what it is and how many.

  • DM @pobla.xyz with the details.

Send the item, how many, the day, and the start and end time, from your spot's own Instagram. We set it up and reply. Reply cancel to call it off.

  • The limits.

Up to 30 per drop, up to 12 hours long, up to 60 days ahead, and 2 drops a week.

At the bar

  • Guests tap Claim and show their screen.

At the bar or the door. Your staff don’t scan anything, and once claimed, it’s used up. See what guests see

  • Run it while people are there.

Drops work best on a busy night, announced at the bar. Plan for the crowd: there are only so many, and the ones who miss out notice.

Not a review

  • Being a stop never changes what the guide says.

Your write-up stays the same whether you're a Passport stop or not, and stops get no boost in the list. Free drinks don't buy a mention.

  • The tag just says we've been there.

A Passport stop means the Pobla team visited and set it up, not that Pobla vouches for the place.
